Waves of cars and buses
On Sayla Road a bus pulls in and the whole busload orders at once, then the hall goes quiet again. The kitchen has to get rotla, olo and khichdi out in the right order without shouting. Laavia POS shows each table’s KOT on the kitchen display, marks dishes ready and keeps billing if the highway signal drops.
01The kitchen sees it all
New, in-process and ready orders sit in their own columns on the kitchen screen, oldest first.
02Notes that reach the tawa
Less spicy, extra ghee or rotla with butter goes on the KOT, so the cook sees it before plating.
03Day and night shifts
Each cashier opens and closes their own register, so every shift’s cash balances on its own.
